20 weeks!

So I have made it halfway through the pregnancy now. It does seem like this pregnancy has gone by a lot faster than it did last time. I was really sick for the first 2 months and then I decided that I had enough of that, it was really hard for me to function, so I have been taking zophran since then. It is like a miracle drug! It takes away all the nausea and doesn't make me tired. But I did try to stop taking it last week and I got sick, so I guess that I am going to have to keep taking it for the rest of the pregnancy, which is annoying but oh well.

I am really excited to be having another boy though! It will be fun for Ben to have a little brother. We still are having a hard time agreeing on a name though. I really like Henry and Caleb. Jason really wants his first name to be David. So we are going to have a few more arguments til we can agree on something :) But whatever the name I just hope he comes out healthy! I am hoping that I don't have to have another C-section. That was not a fun thing to have to recover from. Very painful!
I have been starting to get my baby belly. It is popping out! I have been feeling the baby move a lot too! That is probably my favorite part about being pregnant! Knowing that he is in there safe and squirmy!
It is really cute too cause I have told Ben that I have a baby in my belly and he really understands it. Everyday he comes up to me and says I want to give baby kiss. So he will kiss my stomach and then he will say I want to give baby hug. So then he will hug my stomach and say "I love you baby." It is the sweetest thing ever!

Baby #2

Well we found out today that we are having another boy! We are so super excited! 2 boys are going to be so much fun! I am having trouble coming up with another boy name though. I liked Henry, but Jason doesn't so its back to the drawing board. The baby is extremely healthy! The doctor said that the baby is near perfect, can't get any better news than that! He is 6 oz. I am just so excited for him to come so we can see how cute he will be! I am excited for Ben to have a little brother, it will be so much fun for the 2 boys to play together! I was kind of hoping for a girl, but we will get one eventually! Boys are great though! Yeah!!

Update...

So I haven't written in a while so I thought that I would just make an update. Well, I am now 14 weeks pregnant, and just getting over the morning sickness, which for me was all day sickness. It is the worst thing for me, I really hate it, but at least there is an end to the crappy. I can now start to enjoy being pregnant :) It has been a lot harder this time around since I have Ben this time and need to take care of him too, it has not been easy, but at least I haven't traumatized Ben or anything. He has been good though, he doesn't understand that I am pregnant or even just sick, but I'm sure once I start getting fatter he will be like what the heck is going on with your stomach, hehe. we finally have health insurance now, which has been a huge blessing, it is the most amazing insurance that covers everything! We haven't had health insurance for about 3 years.
We had a really fun Halloween. I am so dumb though, I didn't get any pictures of us in our costumes. But Ben was dressed as Nemo and I was a princess and Jason was a vampire. It was really fun, even though it rained through most of the night, we were able to take Ben trick or treating when it had stopped. He mostly enjoyed just being able to paint his pumpkin :)
Well, that is life as of now, really exciting I know, but I will keep you updated about pregnancy stuff. I hopefully get to find out what I am having in a few more weeks, I am so excited. I think it might be a girl but I am not getting my hopes up. I would love a little girl, but I will be happy with anything as long as the baby is healthy!

Ben 2nd Birthday

We had so much fun at Ben's birthday party yesterday. Ben went to the zoo in the morning with mine and Jason's parents, Jason went also, I was suppose to go but I woke up in the morning and was sooo sick, ugh..I hate that so much, but it will be over soon. Anyways, we went to the park and had a family party with all of our family. It was so much fun! Leigha made such a great cake, she does such a good job with all of the cakes that she does!
Ben loved it, he kept sticking his finger in it, and he was just sitting by it guarding it! He got a lot of great gifts from everyone, a LOT of clothes and toys!

Thanks for everyone that came and brought food and gifts! I really loved that party and that everyone was able to come!

Finally....

I am so excited to announce that I am PREGNANT! We have been trying for about 7 months, and it seems like it took forever! I thought that as soon as we started trying that is would happen, but that was not so. I would get frustrated every month that I took a pregnancy test and it would turn up negative. Everyone kept telling me that I needed to be patient and that it would happen when it was suppose to. Patience is not something I excel at. But it is kind of interesting the way that I was pregnant this month. As you know, Jason's brother, Brian passed away 2 weeks ago, and even before I knew it, I was pregnant while all of this happened. I had just found out I was pregnant 2 days after the funeral. Right when I took the pregnancy test, it was positive. I ran to Jason and showed him, he just was so happy that he started to cry. I told him that I got pregnant this month because Heavenly father knew that we would need this baby in our lives that would bring us great joy in this time of sorrow. I hope that it will bring joy to all of our family members as it will to us! So I am happy to say that I am about 6 weeks along and I am due May 5th! If it is a boy we will maybe name him Henry Brian Oliver, I just don't know if Jason likes the name Henry :). If it is a girl we will name her Emma Marie Oliver.

Goodbye Brian.

We have lost a dear member of our family, Brian Oliver. Jason's older brother was such a wonderful person who brought happiness to everyone who knew him. All I keep thinking about is the last time that I saw him was when i had invited Ashley and Brian over for dinner a few weeks ago. We had such a fun time and the whole time Brian was just sitting and playing with Ben, saying what a cute kid he is and how he loves to play with him. I can't believe that he will not be able to sit and play with Ben anymore, Ben had so much fun with him! Jason is having a really hard time with it, he was really close with Brian and he was one of the ones that had found Brian, we all appreciate all your love and support at this time, Jason really needs it, and me too. I know that we will all be able to see him again someday, and my heart goes out to Ashley, having lost the one that she loves, I can't even imagine how that would feel, but we loves you so much Ashley and hope that you know that! So for now, Goodbye Brian and see you in a while!

Hallelujah!

Well I just finished summer classes! I had taken a math class earlier in the summer semester, and I got an A-, which is good for me for math! I just finished taking my final for Biology today, and I got a good score, 74 percent. I am going to pass this class, not with an A but at least I am going to pass, which is the only thing that matters for me now. I do have to take Chemistry and Math 1050 for the fall, so I am not really looking forward to those classes, but it will be nice to be done with all of these classes and be even that much closer to being done with school. I figure I have about 2 years left, depending on when I get pregnant :) As of now though, while I have these few weeks off, I am just going to relax and be a mom! I love all the time that I get to spend with Ben! I am so glad that I don't have to work, thank goodness for Jason, I don't know what I would do without him! He is such a good little worker, and now he has a really good job that he loves! So for now, Life is great!

Ohhhh...St. George

How I love St. George! I miss living there sooo much! I wish so much that my family lived there so that we could move back there! I went down there this weekend and got to spend some time with my friend Andrea and her new baby Acacia. It was so great to see her and her baby, who is so cute by the way! Everytime we get to hang out it is so fun to remember all the good times that we had in college.
How it all started:
I moved to St. George when I was 17. I graduated from high school a year early cause I wanted to move away so bad and have a new experience outside of Orem, where I have spent my entire life. I wanted to meet new people and make wonderful memories. I was able to do all of this when I moved to St. George.
The apartments that I moved into were the Abby apartments that are right across from the Dixie college. Some of the best days of my life happened in this little apartment. There I met my roommate and now best friend, Andrea.

We had lived together for a few months and never really talked, we had 3 other roommates, and just never really talked much. But the first time we really saw that we were going to be good friends was when we went to this dating show at the college, and we were making fun of the people on stage! :) Anyways....we made lots of friends after that. We were always inviting new people to come and hang out with us in our wonderful apartment. We first brought Kahui into the group, a guy we met at an institute dance. He then brought with him a few people...Beth, Lane, Katy, Johnny, Brandon. We then met Corbin, who also lived in the Abby apartments. After him we brought in Jason, Greg, Russell and Steve.
We had ourselves a fun little group whom we hung out with everyday just about! With these people we made some great memories! We would play this card games called scum all the time, with Kahui cheating whenever we played with him. We would play capture the flag on Dixie campus every Friday night. Then we played halo on the xbox every Saturday. We went to Vegas a few times, on one occasion to rescue our friends who had been stranded there because their car had broken down. We would drive around town just trying to think of new things to do, and when we couldn't think of anything we would just end up back at the apartment to watch a movie or play a game. We also discovered Mystery Science Theater 3000. This is a show that use to be on T.V. where they would play a really old bad movie and this guy and his robots would make fun of it while they watched it. It is the best thing ever made! The best one being called, Manos, the hand of fate! Watch it! I had a lot of dating experiences here as well. I had never had a boyfriend before I moved there, but then I had a lot after that. I frist dated this guy named Tony, who was not very nice and he was a smoker, so that didn't last very long. I then dated Kahui, who was fun, and we went dancing a lot to this country club, which was fun because I love to dance! He wasn't very nice to me though, and I eventually moved on from him to Russell. Russell was a very nice guy and he treated me very well, but I didn't treat him very well and when I think about it now I wish I would of been nicer to him, but I was only 18 and really immature. I am still friends with him now though, so I can make up for not being very nice to him then. After Russ I dated Greg, who I actually kind of stole from my other friend Beth, which I think she never really forgave me for that, but it wasn't my fault, he asked me out! :) But I dated him the longest, and he was the best boyfriend I had ever had up til that point! He was so nice to me and pretty much gave me whatever I wanted, but it didn't end up working out, I wasn't very nice to him, like I said I was 18 and really immature, but I have so much regret for being mean to him and I wish that I never would of treated him that way, he didn't deserve it. But things ended with us when there were many rumors that were going around that I was still "flirting" with Kahui, my ex. These weren't true but it was tough to convince him. I think he also broke up with me because his mom didn't like me, which was understandable since I wasn't very nice to Greg. Of all the things in my past I wish I could go back and change this the most, mainly because I just have all this regret about how I was mean to him and how I should of been different with him. But life goes on and I eventually got together with Jason, who I had been friends with for a year before we starting dating. He was such a nice guy and we ended up dating for a year before we got married.
I do remember all of these fun things that me and Andrea would do, but the funny thing is I hardly remember working or going to class! Either I just blocked all of that out because I only remember the fun things that we did or I just didn't go to class or work while I was there :)
Anyways....I do love going to St. George and driving by all the places where we created these great memories and just thinking about all of the things that we use to do, crazy fun things!

Life without Ben

Ben went camping with my parents this weekend and I realized how boring my life is without him here! I did NOTHING all weekend! It was not very much fun. I basically just slept, which was kind of nice cause I don't get to do that very often, but other than that I was just trying to figure out things to do with my time. I even went shopping which is my favorite thing to do, but even that was simply dull without Ben going with me and complaining the whole time. I was so excited when he got back today, now I know what it is that I do everyday, I work as a mom! Love it!

I know this isn't a picture of me being a mom,
But we did bubbles today when Ben got home and
I thought this picture was so cute!

Soggy bottom boy!

So I had to post this video cause it is just so darn funny! We had just bought Ben this pool and so we brought it to my parents house and we just took his clothes off so he could get in it for a few minutes. Well his diaper got really really really full of water, and it began to fall slowly. LOL, we were laughing so hard!

Camping for the 4th of July

We had a great weekend camping with my family this weekend. We went to Strawberry on Friday and just got home today, monday. It was so much fun to go up there and go fourwheeling. It is one of my favorite things to do, just to get out and be a part of nature, and it is so pretty out there.
Benjamin loves to ride on the Rhino, and I got to ride with him and hold him part of the ride, and I really enjoyed that, he is most calm when he rides in the Rhino. There was one night that Ben did not want to go to sleep and he had a meltdown. This was the first time that I had ever seen him like that. He was like possessed or something. He was screaming bloody murder til about 1:30 in the morning. He was very hysterical, which is why it was so nice to ride with him in the fourwheeler, like I said he was very calm then, but I had never seen him so upset as he was that first night.
Other than that, we had a great trip and wished that it could last longer!

Summertime!

You know when it is time for summer when all you feel like doing is just getting soaked! Well, Ben does that very well!

Aside from that, I love the summertime, yes even the outrageous heat! Even though our apartment doesn't have air conditioning, and right now looking at the thermometor in our apartment it shows that it is 85 degrees in here, I like it! There is something about getting stuck to the seat in my car that just puts a smile on my face! :) It is fun though to be outside with Ben and watching all the fun things that he does! He loves to play in the water, which is funny because I took him swimming yesterday and he did not want to be in the pool, he was just playing outside the pool. But he did like to play with the hose and get wet that way, and boy was he soaked! But it was just fun to watch him!

Welcome back Summer, I have missed you!

Just some fun Ben stuff!

So having a kid is the greatest thing in the world and anyone who says otherwise is an idiot! It is hard sometimes when he is having a big temper and then he just won't listen, but he is such a sweetie and I love him soooooo much! It is always handy to have a camera around, cause you never know when they are going to do something really cute or funny! So I always carry my little camera with me in my purse and today it came in handy. Ben likes to run, oh man does he like to run! We went out to dinner for my sister Leigha's birthday and while we were waiting Ben was running around outside. I took some really cute pictures and then he found this little baby bird that had fallen out of a tree or something and it couldn't fly, so Ben was just chasing it around, it was so cute. He kept saying "funny" anytime that the bird would run away. Then the mommy bird flew down right past Ben to be next to her baby bird, I thought it was going to attack Ben! Then we went to eat and while we were eating, Ben wanted some of my mom's "juice" which was raspberry lemonade and they serve it in a wine glass, the picture I took just looks so funny, he looks like he is wasted! LOL, oh man, the things they do to make us laugh!

Fourwheeling for Father's Day.

We went fourwheeling up the mountain for Father's day. We went with my parents and it was so much fun! I love to go fourwheeling and it is really fun for Ben to go and he LOVES it! All he says all the time is "Ride the Rhino", which is a kind of fourwheeler that my dad owns. It was so beautiful up the mountain. Everything is so green from all the snow and rain. It's like our own little piece of Ireland. Jason was able to go which made it even better! I lvoe my family and all of the great memories that we create with them! I hope that Ben will have some great memories of his childhood!

Fishing for Memorial day.

So after we went up the canyon on Sunday, we went fishing with my dad, brother sister and brother in law on Monday. It was a lot of fun! We went up to Scofield. We just fished from the shore, but we were able to catch 4 fish! My brother Brent caught 1, my dad caught one and me and Ben caught 2 from Ben's little buzz lightyear pole! It was a lot of fun! It was funny though cause when we tried to get Ben to take a picture with the fish he was freaking out! He did not want to be next to the fish! No luck for Kelsey and Steve, but they will have better luck next time! It is nice to do fun things with family! Nothing better than that!

Camping on Sunday

So we all went as a family, my family, up to Hobble creek canyon. It was so much fun! It is always nice to have a nice sunny day and to be around wonderful family! we ate and then played some baseball! It reminded me of a scene from Twilight where they are in the field playing baseball, but for us there was no thunder. LOL. I know I am retarded. Anyways, it was such a nice day and we had so much fun!

What is new?!

Well, I wanted you all to know that I have put some new pictures on here, of Ben of course! Even thought this is a blog of our family, the only pictures you will see is of Ben, with an occasional picture of me and Jason with Ben. But Ben pictures are the best ones too look at anyways.
So to get updated, the best news we have right now is that Jason just got a new job! We are so excited! Jason has worked at Teleperformance for 2 years and that place was evil. They never treated Jason well and he hated it there, but he stuck in there for 2 years. I was on the internet everyday sending his resume to so many companies, even some in St. George, in hopes that someone would call him. Then one day a company called him from Mozy. Then he went in for an interview on Friday, and they called him on Monday and gave him the job! Mozy is a computer company which is the best description that I can give, Jason told me what it is that he will be doing but I have no idea what it is. So we are so excited about that! It will come with a big pay increase as well as health insurance which me and Jason haven't had in 3 years.
As you can see from the pictures of Ben, he is no longer a baby, and he just keeps getting bigger and bigger! He will be turning 2 in September, wow! Now the only thing that would make life complete would be for me to get pregnant! Stay tuned for a posting of that in the near future, hopefully!

Temple day!

We got sealed in the temple for all eternity as a family on Feb. 20th. It was such an amazing day! All dressed in white, Benjamin was so adorable, aside from the fact that he was really sad most of the time. He was crying the whole time that the sealer was talking, and he was not wanting anything to do with anyone except for Jason. He loves his daddy! We were so happy that most of our family was able to come and share in our heavenly experience! It was all worth it though, and now we will be together forever!

Life as of now.

Life goes by everyday so fast, if only there were a way to slow it down! Well, just to tell a little bit about the Wee olivers....Right now Jason is working at Teleperformance, which he hates! He was going to school but he is taking the summer off. He is studying Biology, but still doesn't know what he want to do yet. For me, I am in school now, for the summer, and I will be taking Math and Biology. Sound fun, I know you are jealous! I am studying to become a nurse, at least that is the plan, who knows how long it will take for me to get done, but hopefully not too much longer. I have to still take another math class and anatomy as well as chemistry before I can get accepted into the LPN program, so wish me luck! As for our little one, Benjamin, he is just getting bigger all the time and smarter all the time! He is now 20 months, which I think sounds so funny when they reach a certain age and people still tell you how old their child is in months, for heaven's sake he is one and a half, the end! Other than that, he just enjoys being a boy and doing all the boy things, like getting dirty and playing outside, rough and tumble! He is so much fun though! He loves his mommy and daddy as well as his momma and papa, which he calls my mom and dad. He also enjoys the time he gets to spend with all of our family members, especially aunt Leigha, who he calls eeya! We love him being in our life, and can't wait for the next little one to come and join our wee Oliver family!
